- Distribution Responsibilities
- Ensure 100% of authorized items are in stock and tagged
- Make certain that all new authorizations are shelved and tagged within the time period established
- Maintain distribution base
- Product Quality Assurance
- Check product rotation as necessary
- Check packaging quality on shelf
- Store Relations
- To be known by all key store personnel
- Develop working relationships with Store Managers and Department Managers as appropriate
- Communicate product movement issues
- Merchandising and Displays
- Understand client's merchandising priorities and execute these priorities
- Shelving and Plan-o-grams
- Position and face all of client's products to most recently approved plan-o-gram
- Communicate shelving concerns and issues to Store Manager or decision maker
- Keep sections neat at all times
- Internal Communication
- The goal is for the Alliance to be the "Eyes and Ears" of our client communicating retail conditions back through proper channels
- Manage any pertinent information as directed regarding competitive activities, shelving issues and concerns, discontinued and competitive items, etc.
- Standard Store Call
- Alliance rep. to introduce themselves to appropriate department manager
- Check department for plan-o-gram integrity
- Check department for any out of stocks.
- Check to see if any product in back room and place it on shelves.
- If no product, look to leave suggested order with department manager
- Make sure that all shelf tags are where they should be.
- Replace all missing or damaged tags
- Straighten out department
- Review any negative store conditions with department manager
- Complete appropriate paperwork
- Phone in store call results to IVR system
